A new CEO for Zucchi oil mill. It’s about Alessia Zucchi who in the new role will be responsible for guiding the future development of the historic Cremonese company producing olive and seed oils and the consolidation of the business in the long term. The manager takes over Giovanni Zucchi which maintains presence on the board of directors with a minority stake within the company.

The history of Zucchi”, he continues, “has been characterized as a set of discontinuities which, over the course of the 214 years of the company’s existence, we have been able to transform into opportunities, managing to best interpret the historical market context”. To then outline the drivers on which the company will leverage in the near future to continue growing: “Innovation, internationalisation, quality, social responsibility have been in our DNA for some time and we will continue to pursue them with enthusiasm”.
The origins of Oleificio Zucchi date back to 1810: initially a family-run artisan business dedicated to the extraction of oil from seeds for food use, over the years it has been able to transform itself into an important industrial and commercial reality, both in Italy and abroad . So much so that it inaugurated an operational branch in the United States in 2020. In addition to theinternationalizationthe group has also strongly focused in recent years on sustainability. In fact, in 2017 it created the first specification of Sustainability Certification of the whole Extra virgin olive oil supply chain, guaranteed by CSQA. With the aim of ensuring a transparent and traceable supply chain at every stage, as well as based on respect for the environment and workers’ rights.
