Agricultural input inflation was 40.97 in September

According to TÜİK data, the agricultural input price index (Agriculture-GFE) increased by 40.97 percent annually and 2.63 percent monthly in September.

The subgroups with the lowest increase compared to the same month of the previous year were fertilizer and soil improvers with 14.35 percent and animal feed with 26.44 percent. The subgroups with the highest annual increase were veterinary expenses with 106.79 percent and supplies with 91.34 percent, respectively.
The subgroups with the lowest increase compared to the previous month were animal feed with 0.91 percent and agricultural chemicals with 1.24 percent, respectively. On the other hand, the subgroups with the highest monthly increase were seeds and planting materials with 7.75 percent and materials with 5.21 percent, respectively.
In the main groups, compared to the previous month, there was a 2.36 percent increase in the index of goods and services used in agriculture and a 4.31 percent increase in the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment. Compared to the same month of the previous year, there was an increase of 35.80 percent in the index of goods and services used in agriculture and an increase of 81.65 percent in the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment.
