The State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Krymenergo” spent 2.97 billion rubles. without coordination with the republican Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, the Crimean financial supervision service said.
According to the supervisory authority, the audit revealed numerous violations of the requirements of financial discipline and legislation in the field of procurement in the amount of 721.5 million rubles. for one and a half years (from January 1, 2022 to July 1, 2023).
In particular, according to specialists, out of 91 contracts concluded by the enterprise, 70 committed violations.
Also, due to failure to meet deadlines for the technological connection of new subscribers to its networks, Krymenergo paid fines issued by the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the amount of 173.7 million rubles.
In addition, the company received 652 fines for violating the rules of non-discriminatory access to technical connections in the amount of 195.6 million rubles, which it still has not paid.
Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that Krymenergo unfairly fined subscribers and also deliberately complicated the process of connecting to energy networks.
According to the Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol, the ex-head of Krymenergo accused in abuse of power, in particular in the development of a criminal scheme, according to which an unofficial commission was created to check electricity meters.
