Bonus request from TESK for retired tradesmen whose tax registration has been deleted
Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) demanded that retired tradesmen whose tax records have been deleted also benefit from the 5 thousand lira bonus given to retirees.
Bendevi Palandöken, Chairman of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), stated that retired tradesmen whose tax records have been deleted should also benefit from the 5 thousand lira bonus given to retirees.
In his written statement, Palandöken evaluated the one-time bonus of 5 thousand lira given to non-working retirees.
Drawing attention to the demands of retired tradesmen and craftsmen, Palandöken said:
“Retired tradesmen and craftsmen who have canceled their tax registration but are still registered with chambers and who are not actively practicing their profession should also benefit from this right. Our members are the group that retires by paying the most premiums out of pocket and receives the lowest pension. While SSK employees retire in 7,200 days at most, our members retire in 9,000 days by working 16-18 hours a day and paying the premium out of their pocket. Under these circumstances, first of all, this bonus should be given to tradesmen and craftsmen without any discrimination.”
WHO WILL GIVE THE 5 THOUSAND TL RETIREMENT BONUS?
Speaking after the cabinet meeting, Erdoğan announced that retirement bonuses would not be given to retirees who continue to work.
Erdogan made the following statements in his statement:
“We exclude our retirees who have retired but continue to work actively from this regulation. These payments will be deposited into our retirees’ accounts as of the first half of November. At the beginning of the year, we will review the situation of our retirees and make every sacrifice. “I hope this decision will be beneficial.”
A retirement bonus of 5 thousand liras will be given to retirees who do not continue their working life, and will also be paid with a deduction to retirees who are widows and orphans. (AA)
