Erdoğan met with investors in the UAE

AKP’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates as a guest of honor. Erdoğan first met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Erdoğan then spoke at the World Government Summit held under the theme of ‘Shaping the Governments of the Future’ at the Madinat Jumairah Mina Salam Conference Center.

Erdoğan, who had bilateral contacts, met with Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG). Erdoğan received Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dibeybe after having a quick meeting with Maldives President Muhammed Muizzu.

Erdoğan also met with representatives of international investment companies as part of his visit to the United Arab Emirates.

A statement was made by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications regarding Erdoğan’s reception of representatives of international investment companies in Dubai, where he was for the World Governments Summit.

TRADE TARGET IS 50 BILLION DOLLARS

According to the statement, Erdoğan said in his acceptance speech that Turkey’s trade volume with the United Arab Emirates has exceeded the level of 20 billion dollars, and the goal is to increase it above the level of 50 billion dollars.

Inviting companies to invest in Turkey, President Erdoğan stated that nearly 600 companies with United Arab Emirates capital are currently operating in Turkey.
