Haute-Loire. Businesses will need to embrace artificial intelligence to remain competitive

AI (Artificial Intelligence), if little known, can fuel many fantasies. This is why the CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), allied with Medef, asked specialists from Open Studio and Brasserie du Digital to come and inform and answer questions from business leaders, last Tuesday, in his amphitheater.
“It’s a new industrial revolution whose repercussions are still poorly understood”
“Industries must integrate AI into their transformation,” declared Antoine Wassner, president of the CCI, and Jérôme Chalaye, president of Medef. It’s a growth factor: businesses shouldn’t miss the boat.” Also, the two managers are campaigning to know the advantages of this technology for companies, but also to control the risks. ” It’s a new industrial revolution the repercussions of which are still poorly understood,” the two officials concede.
However, this “enhanced way of working” is taking place in many areas, including commerce and services. “We find AI in business management, predictive maintenance of a company, road flow management, in the monitoring of transplant recipients to Paris hospitals as part of decision support,” notes Jean -Luc Marini, director of the Open Studio research and innovation laboratory. Which supports SMEs in their digital development.
Upcoming creation of a license, then a master’s degree at the CCI
AI, considered “essential” for the future of Altiligère companies, will soon be the subject of training and conferences within the CCI. La Brasserie du Digital, for its part, has planned a popularization session entitled “AI around data” for Tuesday January 9, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Finally, Antoine Wassner revealed “a desire to open up university training, with the upcoming creation of a bachelor’s degree, then a master’s degree in AI”.
