Kyivstar has paid more than ₴21.6 billion in taxes and fees over the past 2 years

In 2023, Kyivstar paid UAH 10.8 billion in taxes and fees to the state budget of Ukraine. And during the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, the amount of taxes and fees paid by the telecom operator exceeded UAH 21.6 billion.

In addition, Kyivstar spent more than UAH 1.8 billion on the implementation of socially important projects – support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the purchase of medical equipment for the Nezlamni burn center, equipment for shelters with Internet connections, and the organization of IT training for children who lost their parents under wartime and others.

The company also supports subscribers in front-line and de-occupied settlements, providing bonuses and services without additional payment.

The company’s subscribers, employees and caring citizens actively join the telecom operator’s charitable initiatives. Thus, thanks to their efforts, more than UAH 180 million was collected for equipment for 146 engineering and demining groups involved in demining the territory of Ukraine.

The personal contribution of Kyivstar telecom operator to this project amounted to UAH 62 million.

The Kyivstar team is staffed by volunteers who support military brigades and fulfill the requests of the military in the means of communication, Big Data services, humanitarian aid, etc.

During the war, the company’s employees received more than 30 certificates of honor and awards from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Directorate of Defense of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the DKIB of the SBU – for their participation in the protection of the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine during martial law.

Kyivstar announced plans to provide targeted aid for the Armed Forces in the amount of at least UAH 100 million in 2024. The company also plans to further develop modern communication technologies in Ukraine and assist the state in rebuilding its infrastructure. For this purpose, the telecom operator will invest USD 600 million in the next three years.

Kyivstar is an important infrastructure company that provides critical telecommunications services in Ukraine. For more than 25 years of work, Kyivstar has built 40,000 mobile communication base stations, more than 14,000 technological platforms, and 40,000 kilometers of fiber-optic lines.

Over the past two years, Kyivstar’s investments in the development of digital services and reconstruction of telecom networks have exceeded UAH 12 billion.
