Loire. City signs returned by Young Farmers

Many town entrance signs have been knocked down since this weekend in the Loire department. This is the #onmarchesurlatete movement initiated by Young Farmers (JA) at the national level. “This is to say that there is no common sense,” says Nicolas Lenoir, departmental president of the JA. “It is to denounce all the standards to which we are subject, the over-transposition of standards, but also all the unfair competition in relation to the European market. »
They demand better display of the origin of products
This Tuesday morning, during a punch action organized in Roanne , a JA delegation presented the sub-prefect of Roanne Hervé Gerin with a basket made up of several products found in supermarkets made up of private label brands, all of which are of French origin. And next to it, several products from more expensive major brands whose products came from the European Union. “They are looking for margin, we find that unacceptable,” thunders Nicolas Lenoir who pleads for better display of the origin of products on the labeling.
To denounce what they consider to be absurdities, young farmers will continue to turn over town entrance signs at the end of the day.
