Midday in the markets: Latest situation in the stock market, gold, Euro and dollar – Last Minute Economy News

BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.33 percent to 9,188.03 points in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index increased by 30.49 points compared to the previous closing. BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,157.54 points yesterday, started the day at 9,186.00 points with an increase of 28.46 points and 0.31 percent.

The index saw the lowest point of 9,148.73 points and the highest point of 9,266.01 points in the first half of the day.

In the first half of the day, the financial index gained 0.90 percent, the technology index gained 0.40 percent, the services index gained 0.03 percent and the industrial index gained 0.11 percent.

Compared to the previous closing, 58 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index increased in the first half of the day, while 40 lost value. The most traded stocks were Turkish Airlines, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Akbank, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası and Koç Holding.

PRICE OF GOLD OUNCE IS 2 THOUSAND 261 DOLLARS

As of 13:00 in international markets, Euro/dollar parity is at 1.0740, sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2570 and dollar/yen parity is at 151.70.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is sold for 32.1940 liras and the euro is sold for 34.5920 liras.

An ounce of gold is traded at 2,261 dollars with an increase of 0.4 percent in international markets, and a barrel of London Brent crude oil is traded at 88.7 dollars with an increase of 1.3 percent.
