Minister Işıkhan said, ‘We expect the highest employment rates’ and announced: We will revise the labor law

“We do not have time to waste with outdated mentalities, remnants of the old Turkey, which cannot find time to serve the people due to seat fights. We no longer have time to waste with those who run advertisement municipalities with excuses of ‘They are hindering us’, with shows of not laying the foundation, and by trying to cover up their ignorance of business with tales of victimization. We do not have time to waste our citizens’ We need real municipalism that knows its own problems, treats every household in the district as if it were its own home, and produces action, not words. We need local governments that produce realistic solutions to the problems of our cities and districts, develop projects, and draw a future vision according to the needs of their city. This is the vision. You, my dear brothers and sisters, witness this with your own eyes every day. On one side, there are armchair lovers who are in a rush to destroy everything that has been done in the name of serving the nation, by joining hands with terrorism. On the other side, there are those who took Turkey into space, saying that they are citizens first, using all the opportunities for the bright future of their country. There are people who love the nation and mobilize for it. Look, today we have reached a level that can be set as an example in the world in employment, social security, exports, defense industry and tourism. We are going through a period where the best data is obtained, especially in employment and workforce. In the 2023 TÜİK data to be announced in March, we expect the highest labor force participation rates and employment rates since 2002, both in general, for women and for young people. Likewise, all leading indicators show that the lowest unemployment rate of the last 22 years will occur. I hope that we will take these good developments even higher with your support. “At this point, we are working extensively to reassure you, reduce the difficulties faced by our employers and alleviate the bureaucratic burden.”
