Ministry of Transport announced… Attention teachers! Valid for train tickets: 50 percent discount…

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, in his written statement, told teachers: On 24-30 November He gave information about the discounts to be applied on high-speed train (YHT) and main line train tickets.

Stating that teachers’ rights cannot be paid, Uraloğlu said: “We wanted to give gifts to our valuable teachers during the Teacher’s Day week. Throughout the year, our teachers were normally given a 15 percent discount on all train travels by the Republic of Turkey State Railways Transport Inc. On 24-30 November, our teachers will be given a 50 percent discount on our main line trains with YHT.” he said.

IT ALSO INCLUDES TEACHERS IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS

Uraloğlu stated that all teachers working in public and private schools at all levels affiliated with the Ministry of National Education or approved by the Ministry will benefit from this discount. Uraloğlu stated that faculty members working in higher education institutions, including application and research centers, and teachers of Turkish nationality working in foreign countries will also benefit from the discount.

Minister Uraloğlu noted that presenting teacher ID cards would be sufficient to benefit from the discount application.
