“Last week there were hundreds of false stories in the media claiming that I am an anti-Semite. “Nothing could be further from the truth,” Mr. Musk wrote on his social network X.
Nonprofit organization Media Matters for America formerly statedthat social network X does not block posts that, for example, speak positively about Adolf Hitler. In addition, such posts may contain advertisements from large corporations. Mr. Musk himself also came under criticism, including from the White House, for agreeing with one user’s opinion that Jewish communities promote the same hatred against white people that they demand to stop against themselves. Against this background, cooperation with X suspended the largest advertisers are Apple and Walt Disney. IBM, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Paramount and Sony Pictures made similar decisions. Elon Musk promised file a “thermonuclear lawsuit” against Media Matters for America.
