no reward for the architectural office Manufacture de l’Ordinaire

The architectural office Manufacture de l’Ordinaire (LMO), whose head office is in Bourg-en-Bresse, will compete this Monday evening in Paris for the 2023 Silver Équerre Prize. This distinction rewards the most great projects for the profession.

Séverin Perreaut and his team did not win the prize in their “Culture, Youth and Sport” category, for the extension of the Bois technical school in Cormaranche-en-Bugeymade from local wood, with the involvement of students in creating the framework.

“Among the 25 selected out of 240 applications, already a great reward”

The associated architect of LMO was not disappointed: “We were going there to be rewarded but being among the 25 selected out of 240 applications is already a great reward. The evening was great, it allowed us to meet colleagues whose work we know but have never met before. Our work has also been recognized by quite a few sisters and brothers, which is already good. One of them, an award-winner about ten years ago, advised me to be patient. »

LMO, which participates in numerous public contracts, will quickly have the opportunity to make a name for itself again, and why not obtain a distinction.
