For the tenth time, the Metropolitan House of Insertion for Employment (MMIl’e) is organizing “The fortnight of ecological transition jobs”. Different actions will be proposed throughout the Lyon Metropolis to discover this area that is recruiting.

Adapt society to environmental changes

Global warming, degradation of biodiversity… to meet major environmental challenges, society must adapt and opt for a less polluting, more balanced way of life. Several sectors are therefore affected by the ecological transition: construction, transport, the circular economy or the field of renewable energies.

Discover and understand

Pôle emploi and ADEME have therefore noted a 17.5% increase in recruitment in the green economy. Nearly 300,000 jobs are likely to be created by 2023, from CAP to bac +8. Job seekers, people in professional retraining, the curious… are invited to come and discover the trades and training offered by the ecological transition specialists. Company visits, awareness-raising actions, conferences, etc. will be offered to discover and understand what the professions of tomorrow will be made of.
