Zhora Kryzhovnikov’s series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” was released on online platforms on November 9. It talks about the life of youth groups in Kazan in the late 1980s. The main character, a teenager from an intelligent family, joins one of these organized crime groups to protect himself from attacks from his peers. Head of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina asked TFR and Roskomnadzor check the series. She believes that it may contain propaganda that could cause “harm to the life and health of children, as well as the entire Russian society.”
