SGK collected 25 billion lira of restructured debts

SSI, which restructured 166.7 billion lira of receivables within the scope of the Law on Restructuring of Certain Receivables, collected over 25 billion lira as of October.

Social Security Institution (SGK) collected over 25 billion lira of the 166.7 billion lira debt restructuring as of October.

More than 1 million 700 thousand people applied to SSI for items including insurance premiums, administrative fines and General Health Insurance debts, with the debt restructuring applications within the scope of the Law on Restructuring of Certain Receivables ending on July 3.

While the institution was restructured for a total receivable of 166.7 billion lira, more than 25 billion lira of the receivable in question was collected as of October, after the cash and first four installment payments.

Considering the collections to be made in the following months and the earthquake zone postponements, it is expected that the collection amount of the Institution within the scope of debt restructuring will increase further. (AA)
