According to what was learned from trade union sources, Minister Urso, in opening the meeting, in addition to claiming the work done by the Government in Europe regarding the use of green fuels for Euro7 engines, spoke about the work being carried out at European level to introduce, as in the United States, duties on non-EU electric cars. As regards the incentives, Urso indicated that if what happened last year were to happen again – that over 80% of the incentives ended up for the purchase of foreign cars – then the system will have to be revised. In his speech at the table, again according to what was learned, the president of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, recalled the collaboration with Stellantis, starting from the recycling hub but also expressed many concerns regarding the production of cars in Turin. from the situation of Maserati but also on the volumes of Mirafiori.
