At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose to 7,993.89 points, with an increase of 47.53 points and a gain of 0.60 percent compared to the previous closing.
The banking index increased by 0.66 percent and the holding index increased by 0.57 percent. While all sector indices increased, the biggest gainer was financial leasing factoring with 2.41 percent.
BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul, which followed a buying-oriented trend yesterday, completed the day at 7,946.37 points with a 1.18 percent increase.
GLOBAL MARKETS ARE POSITIVE
