According to the statement made by the Ministry, “Provincial Export Statistics by Companies’ Production Locations” was created as a result of a joint study carried out with the participation of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Technology (STB) and TURKSTAT, which has been going on for about 1 year, in order to measure the export statistics originating from the production structure in the provinces.

MONTHLY FOREIGN TRADE DATA BULLETIN IS PLANNED
Provincial export statistics based on companies’ production locations are temporarily planned to be published in the “Monthly Foreign Trade Data Bulletin” of the Ministry of Commerce, starting from January 2024.
In addition, it is aimed to share the foreign trade statistics, which will be published by TURKSTAT on February 29, 2024, within the scope of the Official Statistics Program, with the public with the January 2024 newsletter.
According to the Ministry’s statement, it was observed that in the export statistics according to production locations, the exports of industrialized provinces with high production volumes came to the fore. Statistics obtained in this context; province, product, country, etc. It allows detailed analysis in sub-breakdowns and includes important indicators such as the technological level of exports by province.
