TCS Q3 Result: The country’s largest software exporter company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has earned bumper profits in the third quarter of the current financial year (October-December, 2023). The net profit of the company has increased by 8.2 percent to Rs 11,735 crore. The company said its turnover also increased by four per cent to Rs 60,583 crore in the quarter under review due to strong double-digit growth in emerging markets led by India. The company said in the statement that the overall growth in business was due to good performance in energy, resources and utilities, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare sectors. The company said its operating margin improved by 0.5 percent to 25 percent during the quarter. Net margin stood at 19.4 percent. The company currently has orders worth $8.1 billion. The impact of the company’s results is likely to be visible on the stock in the stock market today. It is understood that TCS shares are going to rise rapidly in the market.

Company will give share dividend

There has been a four percent jump in the company’s revenue in the third quarter of this financial year. It reached Rs 60,583 crore in the October to December quarter. The company’s revenue in the same quarter last year was Rs 58,220 crore. The board of TCS has also given a New Year gift to its investors. The company has decided to give a dividend of Rs 27 per share in the financial year 2023-24. This includes a special dividend of Rs 18. Dividend payment will be paid to investors from the record date of January 19, 2024. Whereas, payment will be made on 5 February 2024. On the company’s excellent earnings in quarter three, TCS CEO and MD K Krittivasan said that despite macro-economic problems, the company has achieved excellent earnings due to its better business model, diversified portfolio and customer-centric strategy. Talking about the company’s future plans, he said that there is tremendous interest in Generative Artificial Intelligence, due to which we have increased innovation in this area for the customers.
