The upper limit of bonus distribution in games of chance will be increased to 90 percent.

The bill, which includes regulations to increase the upper limit of the bonus distribution rate from 83 percent to 90 percent for all games of chance, and to impose multiple administrative fines on those who apply exorbitant prices for building materials and construction works in the earthquake zone, will be brought to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
According to the information received, the omnibus bill, which will consist of approximately 80 articles on tax and finance areas that AKP MPs are working on, is expected to be presented to the Parliament this week.
The bill is planned to be discussed next week in the Planning and Budget Commission, whose 2024 budget session will end this week, and if accepted by the commission, it is planned to be brought to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly before the budget discussions.
According to the proposal, which envisages amendments to some laws, including the Check Law and the Law on the Regulation of Taxes, Funds and Shares Collected from Games of Chance Revenues, the seizure minutes used in the actual seizures of movable properties can be prepared electronically.
The upper limit of the bonus distribution rate for all games of chance will be increased from 83 percent to 90 percent. With this regulation, the total bonuses to be paid within a calendar year for all games of chance organized by each institution and organization cannot be less than 40 percent and more than 90 percent of its revenue in the same period.
PENALTY FOR EXORBITIVE PRICES
A new regulation will be made regarding exorbitant prices in the provinces affected by the earthquakes on February 6, centered in KahramanmaraÅŸ.
In this context, a temporary article will be added to the Law on the Adoption of the Presidential Decree on Settlement and Construction within the Scope of the State of Emergency. Multiple administrative fines will be imposed on those who increase the exorbitant prices of construction works and building materials in places declared as general disaster areas until December 31, 2025.
With the amendment to be made in the Check Law, the implementation period of the regulation regarding the invalidity of presentation of checks to the addressee bank for payment before the written draw date, which will end on December 31, 2023, will be extended until December 31, 2025.
