People have made advance booking of items to bring home the Goddess of Wealth along with new items on Dhanteras. Apart from bikes of various companies, advance booking of cars and fridges, washing machines, cookers, utensils, brass utensils etc. is being done at almost all the major shopkeepers. On Wednesday, there was a competition among those who made advance booking. In this, a huge crowd was seen at the showrooms of vehicles along with branded jewelery shops.

Decoration of shops is being done

Attractive decoration of shops is also being done on this occasion. A shape is being made from bamboo bats in front of the shop till the road and it is being decorated with colorful clothes. It will be decorated with attractive flower garlands from Thursday night itself. Utensils, electronics, vehicles and even hotels and restaurants are being decorated. For this, shopkeepers have especially made advance booking of marigold flower garlands. Rajkumar Bhagat, who runs a flower business at Darbhanga station, said that so far 20 times more demand has been made than on normal days. Further increase in this is expected. Most of the flowers are being brought from Bengal. However, flowers are also being supplied from Samastipur.
