To the Italians the coffee people like it more and more, even on the web. One reveals it study conducted by Everli, an online shopping marketplace, which monitored purchases made on its platform over the last 12 months. In particular, theonline interest in coffee increased by 169%, that for pods and capsules of 113% and that for cmoka maker and coffee grinderrespectively, by 38 and 35.5%.

Positive trend also for capsule coffee machines (27.6%), the favorites in the category, and for pod machines (12.2%). Good results also for the ‘pods and capsules’ category (24.8%) which, within it, sees the former surpass the latter. Coffee beans (58.1% of purchase intentions) in turn prevailed over espresso beans (24.9%) and, above all, ground coffee (10.4%) and the one ground for espresso (5.3%).
L’inflationUnfortunately, it also affected the world of online coffee which recorded average price increases of around 10%. THE prices annual averages of coffee grinders increased by 21.3% while those of espresso and pod coffee machines grew by 13.4% and 11.3% respectively. Finally, the price comparison would prove to be a valid support for those looking for a deal. In fact, the fluctuation in online prices recorded in recent months would have allowed savings of up to 43.6% for a coffee grinder and up to 19.6% for an espresso machine.
