Yes…According to the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are going to be closed for 15 days in July 2023. These holidays will be on different days in different states. These holidays include Sunday as well as the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
If you look at RBI’s holiday calendar, eight of these holidays are going to be due to various occasions, while others are weekend holidays. Both public and private banks will remain closed on the occasion of Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday, MHIP Day, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, U Tirot Sing Day, Drukpa Tshe-Zi, Ashura, Muharram (Tazia) in different states. July 5 (Wednesday) – Birth Anniversary of Guru Hargobind Ji – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
July 6 (Thursday) – MHIP Day – Banks to remain closed in Mizoram
July 8 – Second Saturday
July 9 – Sunday
July 11 (Tuesday) – Ker Puja – Banks will remain closed in Agartala
July 13 (Thursday) – Bhanu Jayanti – Banks will remain closed in Sikkim
July 16 – Sunday
July 17 (Monday) – U Tirot Sing Day – Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya
21 July (Friday) – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on account of Drukpa Tse-Zi
July 22 – Fourth Saturday
July 23 – Sunday
28 July (Friday) – Ashura – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
July 29 (Saturday) – Muharram (Tazia) – Banks in Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, MP, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, UP, Bengal, New Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh will remain closed.
Banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days.
It is noteworthy that banks are going to remain closed for a total of 15 days in July, so set your work accordingly.
