Jupiter Wagons
Shares of Jupiter Wagons have seen a gain of two per cent in early trade today. NCLT has approved the resolution plan of Jupiter Wagons to buy majority stake in Stone India. Jupiter Wagons is a Kolkata-based company that manufactures railway coaches. At 9.17 am, the company’s stock was trading at Rs 135.35, up 1.61 per cent. The stock has declined slightly from its 52-week high of Rs 139.55. The Kolkata Bench of NCLT has approved the resolution plan of Jupiter Wagons to buy controlling stake in Stone India. It was approved under the IBC on June 8. The company gave this information in the exchange filing.
Cochin Shipyard
Shares of Cochin Shipyard rose six per cent in early trade. The Defense Ministry has given a project to the company. The Indian Navy has named Cochin Shipyard as the L1 bidder for upgrading one of its ships. There will be a final deal for this in the coming days. The contract value of this project is likely to be Rs 300 crore and it may take 24 months to complete.
Jontua Overseas
Shares of Jontua Overseas jumped 10 per cent this morning. The company (Jonjua Air Private) said that it has applied to the Ministry of Civil Aviation for a non-scheduled operator permit. This company is registered for UDAN 5.1 and has qualified for the bid.
