FAS opened a case against S7 due to air ticket prices – Kommersant

The FAS found that S7 (Siberia Airlines JSC) sells air tickets at different prices within the same fare subclass. Also, the company does not have documents defining the pricing procedure, the antimonopoly service found out. In this regard, regarding the airline excited case, she faces a fine.

According to the FAS, the differences in ticket prices were not associated with on-board services, additional carrier costs or the time before departure at which the passenger purchases the ticket.

The service previously issued a warning to the company, requiring it to develop and agree on a document on pricing policy. It was supposed to provide a procedure for calculating and establishing fees for the transportation of passengers “at an economically justified level and rules for determining the permissible level of deviation from it.” The airline not only did not comply with the FAS warning, but also tried to challenge its legality.
