From Conad Nord Ovest over 750,000 euros to support pediatric departments

Conad North West announced on Wednesday 31 January donation of 757,000 euros in support of eight important ones active hospitals with pediatric projects in the territories in which it operates, thanks to the solidarity collection initiative “A fairytale collection” active in Conad stores from October to December 2023.

The result of the initiative, active from 30 October to 31 December 2023 and created in collaboration with GOOFI by Eganis the result of the contribution of Conad customers holders of Carta Insieme and Carta Insieme Più Conad Card, who purchased 12 Christmas subjects from the GOOFI line, inspired by fairy tale characters and made of 100% recycled plastic (ABS).

For every product sold, in fact, Conad Nord Ovest has donated 50 cents to eight hospitals in the regions in which it operates to finance pediatric projects, giving a concrete hand to those who work every day to make the lives of all hospitalized children as peaceful as possible possible and with necessary medical equipment.

The hospitals and pediatric departments affected by the donations are: the Gaslini Institute of Genoa, the Sant’Orsola Polyclinic of Bologna, the ARNAS G. Brotzu of Cagliari, the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital of Rome, the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital of Turin, the Polyclinic University Hospital of Modena, the Beauregard Hospital of Aosta and the Santo Stefano Hospital of Prato.

The solidarity collection campaign of the Christmas period has seen Conad Nord Ovest involved for years alongside important pediatric hospitals in the seven regions in which it operates with truly valuable results, so much so that it has allowed a total of over 5 million euros to be donated to date.

An initiative that is part of a broader national Conad project to support hospitals active with pediatric projects throughout Italy, 27 in total, to which this edition donated a total of 1.7 million euros. The commitment dedicated to sustainable partnerships and, in particular, to loyalty initiatives to support people and communities, is part of the Conad sustainability project “Let’s support the future”based on three fundamental dimensions: respect for the environment, attention to people and communities, valorization of the entrepreneurial fabric and of the Italian territory.
