Grana Padano: an agreement signed with Aia and Fedana for the defense and valorization of cattle farming

The activities that will be carried out thanks to the agreement will first of all involve the involvement of individual farmers and dairies involved. The goal of the collaboration is to work together within the scope of selection of dairy cattle: in this perspective, we will work on the identification of new phenotypes (dairy and functional characteristics of cows) to be detected, with the aim of characterizing them in depth, from a zootechnical and genomic point of view. The event marks the launch of a series of synergistic activities that will bring value between the production companies of the supply chain also through the sharing of highly professional data and know-how.
