Honda launches new Smart Activa, will be lock-unlock without key; Know how much will be the cost

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): Creating a new history in the two-wheeler industry, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today announced the launch of even smarter and more advanced Activa 2023 which also comes with Smart Key. The starting ex-showroom price of this scooter in Delhi is Rs 74,536.

With this, HMSI has launched its first OBD2 compliant two-wheeler ahead of the scheduled date of April 2023, the company said here today. He said that Honda Smart Key has been introduced in the new advanced and smart Activa 2023. The answer back system present in the Honda Smart Key system helps in locating the vehicle easily. When the answer back button is pressed on the Honda Smart Key, all 4 winks blink twice to locate the scooter. The smart key system is a new technology feature that allows the scooter to be locked and unlocked without the need for a physical key. If there is no activity for 20 seconds after activation and the scooter automatically deactivates. If the smart key is within a range of 2 meters from the vehicle, the rider can easily start the vehicle by rotating the knob in the lock mode to the ignition position and pushing the start button without the key. The Activa 2023 comes with Mapped Smart ECU, which acts as a security device by electronic matching between the ECU and the Smart Key, thus keeping the vehicle safe from theft. The smart key has an immobilizer system that prevents engine start with a non-registered key. The immobilizer system is not activated if a secure connection is not established with the smart key. The two-way functioning switch is pressed downwards to start the engine, the same switch acts as an engine kill switch when pressed upward.

The Activa 2023 is OBD2 compliant and comes with Honda’s trusted 110cc PGM-FI and Enhanced Smart Power (ESP). Activa 2023 will be available in three variants (Standard, Deluxe and Smart) with ex-showroom Delhi prices of Standard, Deluxe and Smart starting at Rs 74,536, Rs 77,036 and Rs 80,537 respectively.
