Enterprises of the processing industry paid the most taxes, fees and payments to the state budget in the first seven months of the year – 17.1%.

In the second place in the ranking of industries with the largest payers are wholesale and retail trade enterprises; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 16.5%.
The third step in terms of deductions to the budget was occupied by economic entities in the sphere of “Public administration and defense; mandatory social insurance” – 14.0%. The fourth – “Mining industry and development of quarries” – 8.9%.
The largest increase in payment for 7 months of 2023 compared to 7 months of 2022 occurred to subjects of the following industries:
- “Manufacturing industry” – growth by 1.5 times, or + UAH 40.3 billion;
- “State administration and defense; mandatory social insurance” – 1.5-fold increase, or +33.8 billion UAH;
- “Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles” – an increase of 1.1 times, or +12.8 billion hryvnias.

1,275 businesses will be checked by the Tax Office by the end of the year, the list includes companies with excise goods, banks and gambling businesses, etc.
