Stock Market Closing Bell: A stormy rise was seen in the Indian stock market. both market indices Sensex and Nifty Reached record high. By the time the market closed, the Sensex was up 1.72 percent or 1245.05 points at 73,745.35. Whereas, Nifty closed at 22,327.30 with a gain of 1.57 percent or 344.50 points. Out of thirty stocks on Sensex, 25 companies closed today trading in profit. Whereas, five companies closed trading in the red. The dominance of steel companies was visible in the market today. Tata Steel closed with a rise of more than 6.71 percent. Whereas, JSW Steel’s turnover had also reached above five percent.

Market made record

Due to impressive GDP data and renewed interest from foreign investors, both the benchmark indices of domestic stock markets, Sensex and Nifty, reached their all-time record high. In afternoon trading, BSE’s 30-share index Sensex made a huge jump and reached 73819.21 points. This is the all-time high level of Sensex. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also jumped to its new record level of 22,353.30 points. Among Sensex companies, Tata Steel registered the highest growth of more than five percent. JSW Steel also gained about four percent. Apart from this, Larsen & Toubro, Titan, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors also remained bullish.

There was a rise in the market since morning

Today, there was a bullish trend in the stock market since morning. After an excellent preopening, Sensex-Nifty made a strong run. In early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 417.77 points to reach 72,918.07. Nifty rose 142.85 points to 22,125.65. In other markets of Asia, Japan’s Nikkei, China’s Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were trading higher. At the same time, American markets closed with gains on Thursday.
