Share Market Opening: Today the Indian stock market opened with enthusiasm amid strong signals from the global market. All-round buying: A jump is being seen in all the indices. At 9.20 am, the Sensex jumped 0.14 percent or 103.25 points to reach 73,261.49. Nifty is trading at 22,253.40, up 0.16 percent by 35.95 points. Bombay Stock Exchange Shares of 18 companies on Sensex consisting of 30 shares are trading with green mark. Whereas, shares of 12 companies are trading with red mark. Shares of Titan, Wipro, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, JSW Steel and Tata Motors have been included in the category of top gainers. Whereas, shares of Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Asian Paints, Maruti and Power Grid have been included in the category of top losers.

What is the condition of the sectors?
Greenery is being seen in all sectors except Nifty FMCG and Oil & Gas. There has been a jump of about one percent in the reality sector. Apart from this, good growth is being seen in IT, Metal, PSU Bank, Consumer Durable and Bank. Whereas, midcap and small cap are also trading with green marks.

Local stock markets regained momentum in volatile trading on Thursday due to strong buying in information technology, automobile and technology stocks. During this period, BSE Sensex had risen by 535 points, while NSE Nifty achieved its highest ever level. Although the market had a volatile start to trading, it made a strong comeback in the second half of the session. Especially in the last hour, the market was successful in rising due to heavy buying in selected segments. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex closed at 73,158.24 points, up 535.15 points or 0.74 percent at the end of trading. During trading, Sensex also touched a high of 73,256.39 points. National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also rose by 162.40 points or 0.74 percent to reach 22,217.45 points. This was the highest closing level of Nifty till date.
