Two bridges have already been completed. The work of Sabarmati Terminal Station has also been almost completed.
Let us discuss here that the responsibility of the Bullet Train Project is with the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). The Railway Minister said that 100 percent land acquisition for the project in Maharashtra has been completed and construction of structures is going on as per the schedule. Sabarmati of Ahmedabad The work of the terminal is almost complete, while the foundation work has also been done in BKC Complex, Mumbai.
There is a delay due to land acquisition
If you remember, the Bullet Train Project came into existence in 2016. After this, its foundation stone was laid in 2017. The target was to complete the project by December 2023, but it got delayed due to problems in land acquisition. However, now the land acquisition work has been completed and construction work is also going on at a fast pace in many sections. The Railways has not announced till now how long the train will operate on the entire route.
What will be the speed of bullet train?
According to the news coming out, the total distance of Bullet Train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be 508 kilometers. Talking about the maximum speed of bullet train, it will be up to 320 kilometers per hour. The journey between the two cities will be completed in 2 hours 7 minutes. At present this distance is covered by train in about 5 hours.
