Kyivstar is building a telecom network for Vinnytsia Hospital

The national telecom operator builds high-speed Internet networks and structured cable networks for civil defense and health care facilities. Works are performed on a charitable basis.

The Military Medical Clinical Center in the city of Vinnytsia is one of the leading medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where servicemen, veterans of the Armed Forces and civilian patients are treated and rehabilitated.

In order to facilitate work VMCC, PrJSC Kyivstar will build a structured cable network based on optical and copper cables for the facility. The telecom network will connect all medical and administrative buildings of the center.

In addition, local ones will be built networks in each medical building. For this, the company will lay more than 30 km of cables of various types.

The total cost of construction works is UAH 1.9 million. All expenses for the construction of the cable network for the Vinnytsia hospital are borne by Kyivstar PrJSC. To date, the company has completed 80% of the planned construction works.

The project will be fully completed in September 2023.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the national telecom operator has been helping the Armed Forces, Ukrainians, and the state to bring victory closer. The company supports state projects, such as restoration of digital infrastructure, demining of territories, cyber protection.

It also connects civil defense facilities, medical institutions and schools to the Internet. In particular, Kyivstar provided high-speed Internet to 1,460 shelters, 1,184 modular houses for displaced persons, and 25 schools in the frontline regions.

In addition, since the beginning of the war, the company has restored mobile communications in 911 settlements of Ukraine.

Kyivstar mobile services are used by 24 million subscribers, and more than 1 million subscribers use the “Home Internet” service. Since the beginning of the war, Kyivstar has already provided charitable assistance to the Armed Forces, Ukrainians, and the state for a total amount of over UAH 1.3 billion.
