Stock Market Closing Bell: A stormy rise was seen in the Indian stock market. Sensex-Nifty opened with a jump in pre-opening. After this, the rally continued in the market throughout the day. The Sensex rose by more than a thousand points during trading. However, till the closing bell, the Sensex was up 0.90 percent or 655.04 points at 73,651.35. Whereas, Nifty jumped 0.99 percent or 219.85 points and closed at 22,343.50. Till the market closed today, stocks of 3917 companies were trading. Out of this, profits were seen in the stocks of 1897 companies. Whereas, 1903 companies closed in loss. At the same time, stocks of 117 companies closed trading without any change. Just a day before the expiry date, there was a rise in the stocks of PSU banks. Rollover D1 of Nifty and Nifty Bank shows that the April series is going to be strong.

What is the condition of Sensex Nifty?

On BSE’s 30-share Sensex, 26 companies closed in profit. Whereas, losses were seen in the stocks of four companies. Almost all the sectors on Nifty closed in the green. There was a rise in the stocks of Nifty Bank, Financial Services, Auto, FMCG, Pharma and Consumer Durable. However, there was some laxity in the media. Nifty 50 was seen trading up 155 points at 22,278.65. Bajaj Finserv, Grasim, Bajaj Finance, Hero Moto Corp, Eicher Motors, SBI and Adani Enterprises were among the top gainers on Nifty. Whereas, stocks of Shriram Finance, Axis Bank, and Reliance joined the category of top losers.

There was a rise in Sensex and Nifty from the time of pre-opening. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex rose 342.48 points to 73,338.79 points in early trade. NSE Nifty rose by 96.25 points to 22,219.90 points. In Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and China’s Shanghai Composite were in profit, while South Korea’s Kospi and Japan’s Nikkei were in loss. Global oil benchmark Brent crude futures were trading at US $ 86.30 per barrel with a gain of 0.24 percent.
