Punch has dominated the market and is continuously competing with Maruti’s top selling cars like Brezza, Baleno and Dezire. In fact, despite being compact in size, the Punch has enough space for 5 people to sit and this car also has a boot space of 366 litres.

Tata Punch is also known for its excellent ride quality. Whereas they provide excellent stability at higher speeds. The company is using 1.2 liter 3 cylinder petrol engine in Tata Punch. This engine generates maximum power of 88 bhp and peak torque of 115 Nm. It has the option of 5-speed manual gearbox along with 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Tata Punch offers a mileage of 20.09kmpl in petrol and 26.99km/kg in CNG. Talking about the features, Punch has features like 7-inch touchscreen display, semi-digital instrument panel, auto air conditioning, automatic headlights, connected car technology and cruise control. In terms of safety, it has features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defoggers, rear parking sensor, rear-view camera and ISOFIX anchors.

Tata Punch has also received a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. Maruti Baleno was the best selling car with 19,630 units in January 2024. Let us tell you that its sales were 20% more than in January 2023. Tata’s Punch SUV became the second best selling car in the country, leaving behind all the vehicles of Maruti and Hyundai. This mini SUV of Tata has sold 17,978 units in January.

Whereas last year in the same month this SUV was sold 12,006 units. An increase of 50% has been recorded in the sales of Punch SUV. Recently the company has launched it in CNG variant with sunroof. Because of CNG it has now become economical to run. This 5-seater SUV from Tata comes with 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The price of Punch starts from Rs 6 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.52 lakh.
