Roskomnadzor also reported about blocking 11 Telegram channels that published fake news about supposedly new terrorist attacks and called for terrorist activities.

Shamsidin Fariduni, one of the alleged terrorists, admitted during interrogation that he received instructions via Telegram from the “preacher’s assistant,” who offered him to carry out a terrorist attack for a fee of 500 thousand rubles. Source “RIA Novosti” reportedthat those accused of committing a terrorist attack could have been recruited through the Telegram channel of the Afghan wing of the Islamic State (a terrorist group banned in Russia) “Voice of Khorasan”. Now the channel, according to the agency, has been deleted.

Eight people were arrested in connection with the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, which occurred on the evening of March 22. According to the latest data, 143 people were killed and 360 injured during the terrorist attack on the concert complex.
