New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News) – SBI Electoral Bond… SBI has submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court in the electoral bond case. In this affidavit, State Bank of India told the Supreme Court that as per the order, it has handed over the information related to electoral bonds to the Election Commission. The bank informed that it has informed the Election Commission about the dates of payment of these electoral bonds. Along with this, the names of those political parties to which donations were given have also been mentioned.

SBI Electoral Bond… SBI has stated in its affidavit that the money of 187 electro bonds which were not encashed by the political parties, has gone to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. SBI has said in its affidavit that the bank has handed over the material in the form of two PDF files in a pen drive in a sealed envelope, which are password protected. According to the data provided by SBI, a total of 3346 bonds were purchased from April 1, 2019 to April 11 of the same year. Of these, a total of 1609 bonds were encashed. The Supreme Court on Monday rejected SBI’s plea to extend the March 6 deadline for submitting data to the ECI. CJI D.Y. A Constitution bench led by Chandrachud on February 15 termed the Electoral Bond Scheme, 2018 as unconstitutional and ordered SBI to immediately stop issuing them.
