Motilal Oswal said in his study that a lesser-known company, Lloyds Metals, created the fastest wealth with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 79 percent during 2018-23. Adani Enterprises Limited, the flagship firm of Adani Group, stood second with a CAGR of 78 percent.
The study said that if Rs 10 lakh was invested in the top 10 fastest wealth creating companies in 2018, this amount would have increased to Rs 1 crore in 2023. This is a CAGR return of 59 percent. Adani Enterprises topped the category ‘All-round Wealth Creators’, reflecting the fastest, largest and consistent performance in the stock market. The firm is ranked 9th in terms of total wealth creation, 2nd in terms of fastest wealth creation and 5th in terms of consistent performance.
It is followed by Varun Beverages, Adani Power, Tube Investments and ICICI Bank in this category. Reliance is at number 10 in this list.
Amid the ongoing rally in the market last week, the market capitalization of nine of the top 10 Sensex companies collectively increased by Rs 2.26 lakh crore last week. Tata Consultancy Services (TATA Consultancy Services) is the biggest gainer.TCS) and Infosys.
