Share market boomed, Sensex-Nifty made record

Stock Market Closing Bell: Indian stock market started with record high today. Sensex and Nifty opened higher in pre-opening. However, after an hour of trading, by 10 am the Sensex took a dive. Then after around 12.30, he was seen in recovery mode. After this, the market became excited again. By the time the market closed, the Sensex rose 0.60 percent or 441.12 points and closed at 74,317.94. Whereas, Nifty jumped 0.49 percent or 108.95 points and closed at 22,543.60. Today, the bullish trend that had been going on for about eight days in the midcap index in the market came to an end. Whereas, decline was seen in telecom, shipyard, oil and gas, railway and hotel sectors. However, after the results of the last quarter of the last financial year, there was a rise in the stocks of AU Small Finance, Dmart, Vedanta. There were 3945 companies doing business in the stock market. Out of these, stocks of 2454 companies closed in profit and 1391 companies closed in loss. Whereas, no change was seen in the stocks of 100 companies.

What is the condition of Sensex and Nifty?

Seven companies on BSE’s 30-share Sensex closed in loss while trading. Whereas, a rise was seen in the stocks of 22 companies. Till closing on Nifty, there was a rise in all the sectors except FMCG and Oil & Gas. An increase of 500 points was seen in Bank, 399 points in IT and 117 points in Auto. Shares of HDFC Bank, Titan, Tech Mahindra, Eicher Motors and Asian Paints have been included in the category of top gainers on Nifty. Whereas, stocks of ONGC, Adani Ports, Shriram Finance, BPCL, Bharti Airtel and SBI joined the category of top losers.

On the fourth trading day of the week, Sensex and Nifty had reached their all-time high. The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 497.06 points or 0.67 percent to hit an all-time high of 74,373.88. NSE Nifty was up 144.70 points or 0.64 per cent at its record high of 22,579.35. Global oil benchmark Brent crude futures were trading 0.37 percent higher at US $ 88.68 per barrel.
