Swiggy starts food delivery in water after train

swiggy: Online food delivery company Swiggy had recently started the work of delivering food in trains. Now the company has gone one step further. The company has now started food delivery work in water also. Yes, now through Swiggy from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. In the information given by Swiggy, it has been said that the company has expanded its service to provide service to the passengers living in houseboats on the iconic Dal Lake. The company’s delivery boy Shikara will be used to deliver food to the houseboats. With this, tourists coming to Kashmir will get better facilities.

Swiggy signed agreement with Shikara operators

Swiggy has tied up with Shikara operators to deliver food in houseboats. In the information given by the company, it has been said that Shikara operators are also given compensation for extended delivery time. Siddharth Bhaku, National Head of Business, Swiggy Food, said that Swiggy Houseboat Delivery is a testament to its mission to deliver service regardless of the customer’s location. He told that Swiggy started its operations in Srinagar in the year 2022. Currently there are more than 300 restaurants in Kashmir.

Swiggy is delivering food in trains also

An agreement has been signed with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to deliver food in trains to customers in four cities of the country – Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. It is being told that this year the company plans to start food delivery at 59 more railway stations. Let us tell you that this is the second time when Indian Railways had partnered with a food delivery service company to provide service to the customers. Earlier last year, the company had signed an agreement with Zomato for pre-order food at New Delhi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi stations.
