The government approved the maximum increase in tariffs for housing and communal services for 2024-2028, reported TASS with reference to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers.

From the second half of 2024, according to the agency, the average index in Moscow will be 11%, Moscow region – 10.7%, St. Petersburg – 9.8%, Leningrad region – 10.2%, North Ossetia – Alania – 13 .7%, Khakassia – 4%, Omsk region – 14%, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug – 4.9%.

In addition, the document contains the limits of deviation from the indices in individual municipalities – this value varies from zero in cities and regions such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Sakhalin region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) told the agency that the mechanism for limiting changes in fees is a limiting factor in the growth of tariffs, and the agency “will monitor the tariff values ​​established by the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for compliance with the approved regional indices of citizens’ fees.”

In April, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there should be no indexation of housing and communal services tariffs in the next year and a half and announced a deferment of tariffs until the summer of 2024.
