All this, the black cars complain, while taxi drivers would be given another treatment. “It is shameful – continues Artusa – that there may still be two competing categories in the same law in which for one, the NCC, the dossier of customer operators is required, an hour’s downtime between one service and another, the ban to work for intermediaries such as tour operators and agencies and administrative detention for any infringement, even alleged. The other, however, the taxi, is pampered and exempted from any obligation, including fiscal ones and with much lighter sanctions, if rarely inflicted, for much more serious violations”. For the representative of the NCCs, therefore, “Salvini wants to condemn millions of passengers to endless queues waiting for a taxi or public transport, cutting the tires of the only mobility that works in this country: the NCCs”.
