The number of personal computers in schools increased by 28%

The number of schools with the fastest Internet access increased by 3.7 times, and the number of personal computers (PCs) increased by almost 28%.

The audit also showed an increase in the number of educational institutions using electronic document management systems, electronic journals and diaries.

In 2021, the government launched a program to build Wi-Fi networks in schools. During the year, 28,500 schools were connected to high-speed Internet. The agency reported on the completion of connecting schools to high-speed Internet at a single tariff in early June 2022. In October last year, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev informedthat the implementation of the Wi-Fi connection program in schools will be suspended.

In addition, since last year, schools have not allowed the use of mobile phones in the classroom, declared at the end of August 2022, head of the Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
