Former US President Donald Trump’s social media company has successfully launched on the stock market. The Shares The company Trump Media & Technology Group rose in value by almost 40 percent on the first day of trading on the US tech stock exchange Nasdaq. The company’s most important flagship is Trump’s social media platform Truth Social.

The company’s shares, which were priced at $49.95, rose to around $67 on their first day of trading. Before trading began, the company’s market value was estimated at around $6.8 billion. The company currently has a market value of $9.08 billion. Trump owns almost 60 percent of the company.

TMTG had merged with SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) Digital World to use it as an IPO vehicle.
