After a series of attacks on Russian oil refineries, which paralyzed the work of large enterprises “Rosneft” and “Lukoil”, the production of automobile gasoline in the country fell by 7.4%.

About this informs The Moscow Times.

According to Rosstat data, for the week ending on March 24, the production of automobile gasoline in the country fell by 7.4% and amounted to 754.6 thousand tons.

“A week earlier, 815.3 thousand tons of gasoline were produced in Russia, in the week from March 4 to 10 – 838.9 thousand tons. Thus, in three weeks, the economy lost 10.1% of gasoline production. The output of diesel fuel for the same period millet went down by 3.9%, up to 1.648 million tons,” the report said.

In addition, due to the threat of fuel shortages, Russia has started negotiations with Belarus on the import of gasoline. In total, 14% of primary oil processing capacities at Russian refineries are currently idle, of which almost 10% are at factories that produce gasoline and diesel fuel for the domestic market.

We will remind:

United States asked Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries, because this, they say, can raise world oil prices and provoke “revenge” from Russia.

As a result of strikes by Ukrainian drones on Russian refineries, about 600,000 barrels of daily oil refining capacity of Russia was disabled.
