VK Dobro users donated more than 106 million rubles to NGOs in 2022

Charity service VK has published its annual report for 2022. According to him, users of the service transferred 106,140,360.40 rubles to charitable organizations. This is 3.82% less than a year earlier. However, the total number of donations increased: during the reporting period, there were 1,396 transactions more than in 2021 (284,575 in 2022 and 283,179 in 2021). Residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bashkiria, the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Krasnodar Territory helped most actively in VK Dobro. The size of the average donation in the service amounted to 372 rubles.
253 non-profit organizations received support. The top five in terms of the number of donations included the Sunflower Foundation (helps children and adults with immunity problems), Oxygen (helps patients with cystic fibrosis), the Leukemia Foundation, AiF.Kind Heart (provides targeted medical care for children and adults ) and the fund for helping homeless animals “Nika”.
Almost half of the users (46%) support systemic charitable projects, those that help charitable organizations plan long-term work, develop the NPO sector, and work effectively on solving problematic issues.
It is noted that 36 funds became new partners of VK Dobro in 2022, and a total of 152 organizations submitted an application for validation. At the same time, the verification was complicated: a stage of media audit and additional verification of letters of recommendation appeared.
