Now your face will be the boarding pass so that there will be no crowd at the airport. This technology will reduce the congestion at the airport by 30 percent.

Let us remember last year’s crowd at the Delhi airport, when Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia made a surprise visit there. Along with this, it was said to suggest some measures to reduce the clutter.

Aerospace, space, defense to security and transportation company Thales is working with Indian airport operators to make it easier for you to travel at airports without having to touch or see anyone in case you go through security checks.

Ashish Saraf, Vice President and India Head of Thales, said that his company has developed such solutions that their boarding pass will be their face at the airport. The DigiYatra app on your phone will allow you to register your boarding pass, scan your face. It authenticates face with your biometrics in Aadhaar and registers itself as an enabled passenger by DigiYatra.

You can sign in using your face as it is already authenticated with your identity. You will see separate DigiYatra gates at our airports which already exist. Saraf clarified that the DigiYatra application is not your app, then go to the airport, enroll yourself and you are registered. Then start your boarding process, but it’s easier with the app because you can easily scan it in.
