A collective labor agreement was signed between CarrefourSA Sabancı Ticaret Merkezi AŞ and Tez Koop Labor Union, which concerns approximately 8 thousand workers.

According to the collective bargaining agreement, whose validity period is January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026, all wages were increased by 58 percent for the first year.

Following the wage increase, it was decided to add a severance increase of 350 to 1450 lira to the bare monthly wages, depending on seniority.

Thus, the first-year wage increase given to employees, taking into account their seniority, was between 61 percent and 69 percent. In addition, employees will be given a total of 4 bonuses worth 120 days of wages.

In the second and third years of the contract, employees will receive a wage increase in line with annual inflation.

Hakan Bozkurt, Secretary General of Tez Koop Labor Union, stated that there were significant increases in the social rights of employees with the contract and gave the following information:

“1000 liras of food aid will be provided to all workers, regardless of seniority, every month, fuel aid, leave aid, holiday aid amounts will be between 80 percent and 100 percent, and event-related social aid such as marriage, birth, death, education aid will be between 65 percent and 100 percent.” “Increases were made at varying rates. In addition, cashier compensation was increased by 74 percent. Goods receiving and forklift personnel working in the warehouse were also added to the occupational groups. The duty allowance given to warehouse employees was increased by 70 percent.”
