The company aims to make the pre-interview process easier and faster with artificial intelligence-based AI through its AI’M Hiring system.
As part of its digital transformation steps, MediaMarkt has implemented AI’M Hiring, an artificial intelligence integrated Human Resources system, to make recruitment processes easier and faster. In order to accelerate the recruitment process of MediaMarkt Turkey, which operates with 98 stores and over 3,600 employees in Turkey, for initial and mid-level positions, preliminary interviews of candidates applying to MediaMarkt will be held via AI.
WANTS TO MAKE THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS EASIER AND FASTER
Qualified candidates for open positions are invited via e-mail via a link to the artificial intelligence-supported recruitment program AI’M Hiring. Candidates who accept the invitation encounter AI’DA’s informative video after registering and logging in to the system.
The pre-interview process of the candidate who watches the information video is initiated and the candidate is asked questions in Turkish and English covering his/her competencies regarding MediaMarkt. Then, within the framework of the answers given to the questions, the ‘heat map analysis’ is performed by artificial intelligence according to the candidate’s MediaMarkt competencies.
This heat map analysis also provides recruiters with a short list for recruitment, allowing the top 5 candidates to proceed to the second stage and meet with the hiring manager. Thanks to this method, the preliminary selection of candidates for open positions is handled meticulously, and it is aimed to reach more candidates in a short time. It also saves time for both the candidate and the employer and adds operational efficiency to the process.
MediaMarkt Turkey collaborated with Vire Up in the development of AI’M Hiring, an innovative recruitment system that accelerates recruitment processes with easy video interviews. The system, which became active last week, started video interview applications.
